Homestaging For Realtors and Home Sellers
The latest strategy for getting a slow moving house to sell quickly is homestaging. We visit the home either in person or through photographs or video and make a list of suggestions for improvement to be completed by the seller or by me, the homestager.
You've seen it on HGTV but you will find it does work and we are much nicer than those critics. Our goal is to suggest improvements that will enable the buyer to see the home as it will be when he lives in it.
Often just removing clutter or rearranging furnishings is all that is needed. Sometimes repairs, painting, etc., are absolutely necessary.
As a Realtor you can offer Homestaging as one of the sales techniques you use to help your seller. We will go to the home locally and help the seller get his home ready for the market or you can send us photos and we will make suggestions via email at a greatly reduced rate.
